About map information
Incidents come from official public agency feeds and may lag the agency's own website. Marker size reflects agency-reported area, not danger.
Warning areas are agency-issued boundaries, not fire perimeters. Satellite heat detections (NASA FIRMS) can be delayed, offset or false and are never confirmed fires.
When a source is delayed or unavailable, EmberAxis shows the last verified data with its age. Unknown is never shown as zero.
For emergencies call 000. Follow official warnings.
